Week 6 Predicktion

Some of you are unlucky enough to have kids... let me tell you - it is a blessing and a curse. I have two little sh*ts - a boy and a girl. They are completely different and both equally as frustrating. For one, my daughter is a girl.

My son is a mini-me, which might be just as frustrating as raising a girl. You ever have an argument with yourself? Let me tell you, it is tough. These little money grabbing, semen sapiens take up so much time and energy that there is little time for things that matter - FANTASY FOOTBALL. And did I mention that my daughter is a girl? Ugh.

Some of you are probably wondering what is wrong with the commissioner - his team sucks. Kids are what is wrong with my team. I have a son who is now getting into Fantasy Football, which is cool and all - but now he wants to check everything on my phone.... which leaves less time for me to actually get better. And did I mention that my daughter is a girl? Ugggghhhhhhh.

Nonetheless, the best part about having kids.... they can be used for great excuses. Why does my fantasy football suck? My kids. Why am I bad golf? My kids. Why did last night's woopie last only 2 minutes? My kids. And did I mention that my daughter is a girl? Ugggggggghhhhhhhhh.

Matchup of the Week
Connor's Stalions (5-0) v The J-Bones 2.0 (4-1)

Battle of the top 2...
Matchup to Watch: Daniels v Stroud... this is a matchup between last year's ROY and this year's soon-to-be ROY. Stroud may have found his stride these past couple of weeks as the Houston offense gets rolling. He will be without top wideout Nico Collins... but there is still plenty of weapons throughout that offense. Daniels is the up-and-coming star and fantasy stud. He is everything you want in a QB... scrambling and keeping the offense going. Did you know the Washington Commanders have scored the most points in the NFC? Thanks to Daniels.
Stalions Favor: Receivers.... lets not lie, losing Nico Collins is going to hurt - but when you still ARSB/Aiyuk/K. Allen.... you will be just fine. To think that somehow this team has all of these receivers as well as striking gold with Bowers. Stalions strategy of going with young players with a big upside has really worked, especially when he hit on multiple players.
2.0 Favor: RB's... Kamara/Barkley/Hubbard.... to think that all three of these backs are ranked in the top 7. This a serious advantage, not to mention that at one point Pacheco was in place of Hubbard. Hubbard was picked up in the 12th round and honestly looked completely lost until Carolina decided to turn to Dalton at QB. Once that happened, Hubbard's stock took off - the past 3 games Hubbard has managed to reach pay dirt. These three are going to go a long way to helping 2.0 pull off the upset.

Predicktion: The J-Bones 2.0
Mystery Guest: The J-Bones 2.0

Bootay Pirates (1-4) v Heat Hicks (1-4)

Battle at the Bottom....
Matchup to Watch: Mooney/Pitts v Bijan... at some point Bijan has to have the breakout game that everyone expects. In five weeks, Bijan has 1 touchdown and Pitts has 1 touchdown as well. Want to know who has the most out of the trio? Darnell Mooney. He has 3 touchdowns is actually sitting ranked at WR15. If Heat Hicks is going to get a much needed win, Bijan needs to have a big week. If Mooney and Pitts can win this matchup - then Bootay Pirates could take control of this matchup.
Bootay Favor: Consistency.... if we are being honest, when you have a battle at the bottom it is difficult to pick out a favor for each team. Bootay has some consistency in this specific matchup that does lead to a slight advantage for them. There is a significant amount of players that could have good games throughout the week. If this lineup can get some consistency there is a good chance they can pull out a much needed win.
Heat Favor: RBs... as I stated, it is tough to pick out a bright spot in the lineup. If Heat Hicks can get the win this week, then the future is bright. After this week, they will be welcoming Kelce (after a big trade) and hopefully Puka back into the lineup. This lineup should tidy up nicely - but they can fall too out of reach of the playoffs early on. The RBs, need to have big weeks in order to help solidify a needed win.

Predicktion: Heat Hicks
Mystery Guest: Heat Hicks

Ankle Holster (3-2) v ARBL (2-3)

Does the big trade equate to a big win?
Matchup to Watch: Reed v McLaurin... ARBL made a big trade this week, trading away Kelce for Terry McLaurin. Some might say that on paper this trade looks lopsided, but let's break it down. ARBL is struggling with receivers and bringing in McLaurin is a huge help to group. Not to mention that Kmet is a very good TE (actually ranked just outside the top 5) and having him sit on the bench does not help. Kelce is not the Kelce of old, so trading him away and gaining value immediately in the WR's. On the flip side, Reed loves having Love back. He is a big time player and Love creates more opportunity for Reed.
Ankle Favor: Depth... there is not a player in the starting lineup outside the top 25 of the position ranks. Some might say this lineup is one of the deeper lineups in the league... Allen is a top tier QB, Breece and Jacobs make for a solid duo at RB, Diggs/Reed/Ertz are all top level pass catchers. There are plenty of opportunities for big-time points, if just one or two of them have big weeks it could spell trouble for ARBL.
ARBL Favor: Making Moves.... this week would have been completely lost if there was no trade made. Kelce was already on the bye-week and wasn't going to help get a needed win in the first place. But this owner has shown their decision making to value getting much needed wins and valuing the future of the team. Also, did you know that Geno Smith leads the league in Passing Yards???? Color me shocked.

Predicktion: Ankle Holster

Love Hurts (3-2) v The J-Bones (2-3)

Middle of the Pack Battle...
Matchup to Watch: Dell v AJ Brown... this looks like a very odd matchup to watch, but hear me out. Tank Dell was the number 2 receiver for a Houston Texans team that loves to throw the ball. But now that Nico Collins is on the IR, Dell is the top dawg in the offense. On the flip side, AJ Brown is coming off an injury but has had 4 weeks of getting himself right and now the Eagles offense is ready to fly. It helps that the entire team is coming off a bye week.
Love Favor: Expected Game Line Value... This game features one of the top game lines of the week (49.5) and there is expected to be points scored. Love and MHJ are both playing in this game, which could lead to them scoring big time points. Another game that features a high game line? San Fran v Seattle (49.5). Deebo and Kittle play in that game. There are multiple players playing in games with high expectations of points to be scored.
J-Bones Favor: Beatdown of bad teams.... Pittsburgh gets the luxury of playing against the Raiders - a team full of players making "business decisions." They are arguably the worst team in the NFL and Pitt is going to have a field day against them. AJ Brown also gets the matchup against Cleveland.... which has looked lost this season. AJB is coming off a bye and Philly should be rolling from here on out.

Predicktion: The J-Bones
Mystery Guest: Love Hurts

Ertz when Eifert (3-2) v PEN15 Wrinkle (3-2)

Fight for the top...
Matchup to Watch: Metcalf v Mason... this matchup is big in the TNF game. Metcalf is a top-tier WR that will be looking to bounce back after a rough week. Mason and the boys will be looking to solidify their spot in the division against Seattle. These two will be looking to help carry their squad to the win. Both the players are focuses of the offense and both players will need to have big games.
Ertz Favor: Value across the board... it is amazing to see a projects board that features this many green checkmarks on one side of the matchup. There is a huge favor on the side of Ertz... nothing looks super amazing, but the consistency across the board gives Ertz a large favor. It is strange to see that the only thing that doesn't favor Ertz is the WR's... a position normally dominated by Ertz.
Wrinkle Favor: TNF... it is no mystery that this team is dominated by 49er players and if the 49ers play well, so will this team. This game features a high over-under (49.5) and the 49ers are favored to win. This could be a big advantage for Wrinkle is Mason/Purdy/Def can perform well in an early week matchup.

Predicktion: Ertz when Eifert

MAYEday (2-3) v Cleveland Streamers (2-3)

Surprising battle of good teams....
Matchup to Watch: WR's v WR's... these teams both have a 2-3 record but find themselves in the middle of the pack of points scored. MAYEday comes into this week holding the belt and Chase and Moore are back again. On the flip side, Evans and CeeDee also represent a good chunk of value on the Streamers. These 4 WR's could find themselves all in the top 10 this week... which makes this intriguing to watch.
MAYE Favor: WR's.... even though these guys are featured in the Matchup to Watch, it is hard not to pick them as the advantage for MAYE. Chase/Moore/Kirk combined for over 80 points scored - which is absurd. These receivers are finally finding their stride and they are looking to continue rolling this week.
Streamers Favor: WR's... it is hard to write WR's here, because I wrote it for MAYE and I wrote it for Matchup to Watch. This trio scored nearly 70 points - which is no small task by itself. Chase Brown and Rico Dowdle are in a shared backfield, but both have carved a role for themselves. No matter.... this entire matchup is coming down to the battle of the WR's, and I for one am excited to see who wins.

Predicktion: MAYEday
Mystery Guest: Cleveland Streamers

Cocaine Cowboys (2-3) v Pendulous TD's (2-3)

Who is going to get to .500?
Matchup to Watch: Lamar v Burrow... did you watch football last week? These two QB's put on a show! Lamar finished with 4 touchdowns and nearly 400 total yards. Burrow finished with 5 touchdowns and nearly 400 total yards. It was electric and it was against each other. This week they face-off against new teams, but let's be honest - this is going to be a great battle at the QB spot.
Cocaine Favor: RB's... truthfully, you could count Lamar as a running back and just include is rushing yards - the trio could get over 300 rushing yards. That alone would equate to 30 points. Then if they can get a few touchdown included - you are looking at right around 40 points from rushing yards and touchdowns alone. This is a huge advantage for Cocaine, who could use a big win this week to push themselves back towards the playoff line.
Pendulous Favor: Pass Catchers.... I wanted to include LaPorta in that mix. JSN and Wan'Dale have been good surprises this year. JSN might have been expected to score a little higher - but he is showing good opportunity. He is getting 8 targets a game and when that happens there is always a chance for points. Wan'Dale has been one of the biggest diamonds in the rough. NYG need to throw the ball to stay in games and Wan'Dale has turned himself into a nice number 2 receiver. The big question, when will LaPorta become LaPorta?

Predicktion: Cocaine Cowboys
Mystery Guest: Pendulous TD's

As always, I wish everyone good luck - except for you, Bootay Pirates - may your entire line be forced to watch an entire WNBA game filled with layups, dribbling, passing, and more layups.

With Love
Commish
