Week 10 Prediction

Well - we are 4 weeks away from the playoffs! Which also means, we are four weeks away from someone getting completely "effed" over! It will either happen in the first round of the playoffs or during the last week of the regular season - you can bet your life savings on it! But until that moment happens - which we all want to happen, just not to us - we can play the scenario game....

Playoff Bound:
Wings of Dickarus
Dixie Normous
PEN15 Wrinkle (pretty much a shoe-in for the 2nd seed)
Florida State Seminal Vesicle
Biggus Dickus
Aaron Rodgers Blows Llamas

The above teams should make the playoffs and I would be shocked if they did not. All of those teams are sitting at either 6-3 or 7-2 and have at least a two game lead on the rest of the league. With only two more spots to claim, this is going to be an interesting final four weeks...

Fighting to Survive:
Hoosier Daddy
Massive TD's
Ankle Holster
The Back Hatch

These four teams are all sitting at 4-5 and have a legitimate chance to make the playoffs. The schedule is also not very friendly to many of these teams - all of them end up facing at least three teams that are playoff bound in the final four weeks. If you want in the playoffs - you gotta show that you deserve it!

Playing the Spoiler:
Hernandez Hit Men
The J-Bones
Bluffton Backup Backups
...And Your Johnson

These four teams will get their chance to completely ruin someone's season. After all, if you are going to down - you better drag down anyone else you can!

This week I am going to be switching up the Team of the Week highlight - still featuring a team, but now we will be focusing on the remainder of their season....

Team of the Week
Massive TD's

First, congrats on winning the belt and what a big performance last week! You have vaulted yourself into the 8th and final spot for the playoffs. The question is: can you hold onto that spot? This week Massive TD's will be facing Dixie Normous (7-2). Dixie is a team that never looks solid, but somehow gets the job done, it will be a tough matchup. The following weeks include matchups against: Biggus Dickus (6-3), Wings of Dickarus (7-2), ...And Your Johnson (2-7).

Essentially, if you can muster your way through 3 of the top 4 teams in the league - you rewarded with a comfy matchup in the final week. This week Dixie is struggling with injuries and bye weeks - so that does help, but the two following weeks Massive TD's will be facing his own struggles with bye weeks. If Massive TD's can get out of the next four weeks with a 2-2 record and finish at 6-7, there is a legitimately shot at making the playoffs. It would be very sweet if ....And Your Johnson was able to end the season with a win and knock Massive TD's out of the playoffs, playing the role as the spoiler!

Matchup of the Week
Massive TD's* (4-5) v Dixie Normous (7-2)

Talk about a hail mary thrown to the scheduling gods - not only does Massive TD's hold the belt, but they are also gifted by facing Dixie Normous on a week when he is facing multiple bye weeks and injuries. There is a constant cloud of distrust hovering around Dixie Normous - you just can't really trust a team that constantly skates by with scheduling. Massive TD's is looking to keep the good time rolling with Jones and Jacobs at running back; both have been very solid. Honestly, this matchup is really more based upon the bye weeks and injuries on Dixie Normous than anything else.

Prediction: Massive TD's wins
Mystery Guest: Massive TD's wins

Wings of Dickarus* (7-2) v PEN15 Wrinkle* (6-3)

This is "Match of the Week" option B. This features the leaders in each division facing off, both are pretty much playing for a lock into the playoffs - but have their eyes set on the top seed. This week Brees will enter the starting lineup, and it is not because of a bye week. Brees presents himself with a terrific matchup against a woefully awful Atlanta defense. If D. Johnson can return to form, the tandem of Cook and Johnson are a deadly running back duo. This matchup really comes down to the matchup of the 49ers against the Seahawks. As a true competitor Wings advised Wrinkle to switch out Jimmy G. - gotta beat the team at the best lineup! This matchup will present the league with the first locked playoff spot on the year, something Wings will not take lightly...

Prediction: Wings of Dickarus wins
Mystery Guest: PEN15 Wrinkle wins

The J-Bones (2-7) v Bluffton Backup Backups (2-7)

A battle for the cellar dwellers! Which teams sucks a little less? Both teams feature players coming off of injuries, or in questionable status. However, one has to think that eventually the tier-one, top end talent of The J-Bones will reign supreme. Rodgers and Kamara both have a nice matchup and could easily carry the squad to victory by themselves. On the flip side, Elliott has to face a tough Minny defense and outside of Keenan Allen there not a for sure dominant player with a nice matchup. The loser of this match is mathematically eliminated and will also be removed from he trading block! Yes, you heard it here.... I WILL NOT ALLOW A TEAM THAT IS ELIMINATED FROM THE PLAYOFFS TO MAKE TRADES!!

Prediction: The J-Bones wins
Mystery Guest: The J-Bones wins

Biggus Dickus* (6-3) v Ankle Holster* (4-5)

This matchup presents quiet a pickle! The depth of Biggus Dickus against the running backs of Ankle Holster. The NYJets looks absolutely awful and Barkley should have a field day this week! Likewise, Mack faces a soft Miami defense and could find pay dirt twice this week. For Biggus Dickus, Kupp needs to continue his demolition of secondaries. It is going to be a 50/50 shot with Winston starting at quarterback - he could either throw 4 touchdowns or 4 picks, you just never know. Hooper is welcomed back with open arms and Biggus Dickus is currently rocking a double tight end starting lineup. I just don't know if the depth is good enough to beat a slew of running backs with comfy matchups.

Prediction: Ankle Holster wins
Mystery Guest: Ankle Holster wins

Florida State Seminal Vesicle** (6-3) v Hoosier Daddy* (4-5)

Both of these teams have showcased their ability to score points - as displayed by the combined 3 belt wins, and it could very possibly be 4 after this week. I am getting reports that FSSV has changed out the starting QB to Kyle Allen, which means he is going with a stack of Allen/McCaffrey. Honestly, any type of play that involves Run CMC is a winning play in my mind. However, I am not sure that is  going to matter. This is the week everything comes together for Hoosier Daddy - it is needs to! Sitting at 4-5 and in the middle of the playoff push, a much needed win should come this week. Hoosier Daddy is finally at full strength and this team is scary good on paper - we are all pulling for FSSV, but I am afraid it won't be enough.

Prediction: Hoosier Daddy wins, belt winner
Mystery Guest: Florida State Seminal Vesicle wins

....And Your Johnson (2-7) v Hernandez Hit Men (3-6)

Honestly, I just want ...And Your Johnson to spoil some seasons - who doesn't want that?!? His team is...

Wait, what is this? I am getting word that a block buster trade has been made. More on this trade will discussed in the next matchup - just know that something big is happening.

Prediction: Hernandez Hit Men wins
Mystery Guest: Hernandez Hit Men wins, belt winner

Aaron Rodgers Blows Llamas* (6-3) v The Back Hatch (4-5)

Yes, as you heard above - there has been a blockbuster trade and it involved The Back Hatch and Hernandez Hit Men. Back Hatch shipped away Bell, JuJu, Ballage and received Gurley and Mclaurin back. From a "big name" stand point, it looks like HHM might have just worked some magic. However, let's slow our roll and take a look at the trade. Bell is a big loss - no matter who you get in return, oh wait? Bell doesn't play for the Steelers any more? Oh he plays for the J-E-T-S? Yikes. JuJu has a backup quarterback throwing the ball, or not throwing the ball, his way. Ballage is the guy to have in the Miami backfield. Not a lot lost, Gurley plays for a team that is in the playoff hunt and may be forced to fully give the reign to Gurley down the stretch. Will this trade be enough to get a much needed win this week? The bigger question: Will James Connor play? I am going to guess he does not, or if he does - he will be sharing many touches. If that is the case, the advantage goes to The Back Hatch.

Prediction: The Back Hatch wins
Mystery Guest: The Back Hatch wins

Bless
