Ship, Capt, and Crew

We are now in the money and it is time to see who get the trophy (or keep it)! It has been an unbelievable season with many memorable moments...

1. Our first ever manager impeachment issue - although this was more like an assassination, or seppuku.

2. We had a student teacher comment about how he only plays real football... just keep waving your baton band director!

3. We had an amazing trade day, with rumor mill

4. "The Cooler" was born

5. Our championship will now feature the defending champion and a rookie in the league; who to root for, who to root for....

The Championship
Dixie Normous v Florida State Seminal Vesicle

QB: Brady v Manning/Jones/Darnold
It is all about matchups with this battle, Brady against Bills and Manning/Jones against the Redskins. Even though Brady is clearly the better quarterback, Manning/Jones have the far better matchup. The Bills defense is very tough and can easily shut down any quarterback. The most difficult part about Manning/Jones is making sure you start the correct quarterback. If the correct decision is made, Manning/Jones is the better play.

RB: McCaffrey/Freeman v White/Cohen
Is this even really a question? The more embarrassing part is the fact that White/Cohen have some how made it to the championship. Run CMC is the best fantasy football player and this matchup is not even close. Gigantic advantage to McCaffrey/Freeman.

WR: Moore/Slayton v Jones/Sutton
As much of an advantage as McCaffrey/Freeman have in the running back matchup, Jones and Sutton have as much of an advantage in the wide receiver matchup. Jones and Sutton are both top receivers on their team and have decent matchups. The saving grace is that Moore and Slayton do have very nice matchups. It is a slight advantage, but Jones/Sutton have an advantage.

TE: Witten v Smith/Engram
Witten is playing terrific football at the moment and is becoming a good safety valve for Prescott. He has been averaging 7 targets a game in the past three weeks and someone who is known for his sure-handedness, this should equate to double digit points. On the flip side, Engram has the ability to make plays and be a top end tight end. Injuries have hurt his playmaking abilities and opportunities - which gives the advantage to Witten.

FLEX: Howard v Hill
This is fairly obvious, if this is the matchup that remains in the starting roster - Hill has an enormous advantage. However, I predict a change for FSSV and making this matchup closer than it currently stands. There is still not anyone that represents the same fire power that Hill has on the FSSV's bench, so no matter what - this is going to end with an advantage for Hill.

DEF/K: Patriots/Fairbairn v Vikings/McManus
Typically, this is not a crucial part of the matchups section - however, this is the championship and every point counts (this aint no Electoral College). The Patriots defense is what really represents the advantage in this one. They are the top defense by a wide margin and this week they face the Buffalo Bills. You can't sleep on the Bills, but this matchup has the makings of a defense stalwart. Look for the Patriots defense to win this matchup.

Overall, this matchup will be much closer than what many think - and the cooling abilities of facing Dixie Normous may play a huge factor. Last week, Cook and Godwin left the game with injuries, Chark did not suit up, and Samuel had only two touches. This has been played up the entire season - but if Dixie Normous were to win the trophy for the second year in a row, there is no denying the fact that they may be the greatest (luckiest) playoff team in the history of the league.

Prediction: Florida State Seminal Vesicle wins, belt winner (obviously)
Mystery Guest: Florida State Seminal Vesicle wins, belt winner

Bless
