Week 4 Predicktions

There are currently three scenarios taking place...

A) At some point you have to look in the mirror and accept what you are...  a really sh*tty fantasy football team. I have one or two good players... but I need lightning to strike to win some games and start contending for a playoff spot. If not, I need to decide whether I am going down with the ship or if I need to trade away some pieces. The difficult part about trading away pieces is that you are going to have to trade one of your only good players to try and get something different in return.

B) I am the f*cking man... my fantasy team is rolling. I am undefeated and I found a few gems in the late rounds to really complete the lineup. I have avoided the injury onslaught and my team is looking like a tank just rolling over cars in a demolition derby. At this point, you wait for the bait to come to you - who is going to nibble at your team? You have players that you can trade away at a high point... you are in the driver's seat.

C) What should I do? Do I stay the course or do I trade away pieces? I am doing okay... but I am just beating the bad teams. I have great matchups and somehow teams suck against me. I know I am not scoring the most points... but I am winning. This is "sh*t or get off the pot" time. You hold the balance of the league. You are the connection between the cellar dwellers and the stallions. What you do now will dictate how the league plays out.

If you are curious, here is where I see the teams and the scenario they are facing...

"A" Teams: Heat Hicks, Bootay Pirates, Cocaine Cowboys, PEN15 Wrinkle, MAYEday

"B" Teams: The J-Bones 2.0, Connor's Stalions, Ertz when Eifert, Ankle Holster

"C" Teams: Love Hurts, The J-Bones, ARBL, Cleveland Streamers, Pendulous TD's

Matchup of the Week
The J-Bones (1-2) v The J-Bones 2.0* (3-0)

Who didn't see this MotW coming?
Matchup to Watch: Hubbard v Johnson... honestly, I did not think that a couple Carolina offensive players would be involved in the Matchup to Watch - but here we are. Dalton had this team looking like a bunch of pro-bowlers last week and these two are loving the new QB. Johnson had over 100 yards receiving and Hubbard had over 100 yards rushing... given, it was against a terrible Raiders teams - but this week they also get the Cincy defense. Cincy has not managed to stop anyone, this matchup looks to be a big one in the outcome of this MotW.
J-Bones Favor: The WR's on this team have good matchups this week - and they need to have big weeks if there is going to be any chance of an upset. Shaheed gets the division rival Atlanta - an underrated pass defense, but still not near the top of the league. Waddle has a good matchup against Tennessee - but you just never know without Tua if he is going to get his opportunities. Johnson was highlighted in the Matchup to Watch.
2.0 Favor: Kamara/Barkley... This tandem is currently the best in the league and there are a lot of people kicking themselves for not drafting either RB. Barkley was drafted 13th overall and the 7th RB off the board and Kamara was 41st overall and the 17th RB off the board. Nearly everyone had a chance at them, but instead the 1 and 2 overall RB are on the same team and they are tearing it up.

Predicktion: The J-Bones 2.0
Mystery Guest: The J-Bones 2.0

Heat Hicks (0-3) v ARBL (2-1)

Is there an upset brewing in the air?
Matchup to Watch: Dobbins v Odunze... honestly, there is not much that matches up in the matchup - but with Odunze finally having a big week and Dobbins finally having a down week - the FLEX position could determine the outcome. The winner of this matchup might determine the winner of the matchup overall. They both have great matchups for the week - Odunze has LAR and Dobbins has KC.
Heat Favor: Matchups... no player on Heat Hicks' team has a matchup that is against a top rated defense. If Heat Hicks is going to turn things around this season, it needs to be now. If they don't crack the 120 point mark... there may never be a time. There needs to be 10+ total touchdowns amongst the lineup and that could happen this week.
ARBL Favor: DEF and Kicker... Chicago's defense is already singlehandedly keeping them in games and they are averaging 12 fantasy points a week - which is huge for a defense. On top of that, they get a banged up LAR team whose number 1 option is Williams (RB) and best receiving option is the buy who was the number 3 (at best) receiver on the depth chart. Aubrey has been phenomenal this season - if he gets to his average (16) fantasy points... this is trouble for Heat Hicks.

Predicktion: Heat Abba Goad Hicks
Mystery Guest: Heat Abba Goad Hicks

MAYEday (1-2) v Connor's Stalions* (3-0)

Time to take the team name's literally...
Matchup to Watch: Jennings v Aiyuk... can we really expect another 40 point outburst from Jennings? I think not. However, it has seemed like Aiyuk has not been what was expected. Maybe the contract issues are looming still? Aiyuk has failed to break the 10 point mark and Jennings was the one who had the big game last week. It may not matter (thanks to the stacked lineup), but Aiyuk is due for a big week sometime soon.
MAYE Favor: Depth... there is not a single positional player that is projected less than 10 points (if Engram plays). There might be the same explosion that happened last week, but this team could break the 100 point mark again this week solely based on opportunity across the board. If this team wants to pull off the upset it needs to come in the form of consistent fantasy scoring throughout the lineup.
Stalions Favor: Washington... I was very against Jayden Daniels - but it might be time to flip the script. This week Washington faces Arizona - who has given up over 120+ rushing yards a game so far this season. That also included 2 rushing touchdowns to Josh Allen, a rushing touchdown to Kyren Williams, and a rushing touchdown to David Montgomery. This could be a big week for Daniels and Robinson Jr. - Washington is committed to running the ball.

Predicktion: Connor's Stalions
Mystery Guest: MAYEday

Bootay Pirates (0-3) v Love Hurts (1-2)

First win?
Matchup to Watch: Taylor v Williams... JT is clearly the best player for Indy's offense. He should touch the ball 20+ times a game, the only problem is that Indy is facing off against a very, very good Pitt defense. Still opportunity presents itself always for Taylor to have big games. Williams is the only player for LAR still left alive. He also should touch the ball 20+ times. The only problem, Williams if facing off against a Chicago defense that is playing very good football at the moment. Which RB will pull through this week?
Bootay Favor: QB... as of right now, nobody knows who is going to actually play QB for Green Bay. Love may come back, or he might sit another week. If Love does come back, how good will he be? On the flip side, Hurts is the guy for Philly. Hurts has not been great... yet. Last week, he threw for over 300 yards - but that only equated to 10 fantasy points. As a fantasy owner, you want Hurts running more often. This week he has Tampa Bay, who got torn up by Bo Nix and the pitiful Denver defense. This could be a huge favor Bootay Pirates.
Love Favor: Injuries... when you look at Love Hurts lineup - you don't see a lot of value outside of Williams and MHJ - but that might not be as bad as it looks. Williams will touch the ball 20+ times and MHJ should have a big week if Murray can realize the best passing option is actually the young gun on the outside. Moss might be able to help out a little - but this team needs big weeks from Williams and MHJ.

Predicktion: Bootay Pirates
Mystery Guest: Bootay Pirates

Cocaine Cowboys (0-3) v Ertz when Eifert (3-0)

Could it really be?
Matchup to Watch: Jackson v Murray... both QB's are known for their scrambling, but both QB's have a tough matchup. Jackson has the Bills mafia and Buffalo is rolling. Jackson has managed 80+ yards rushing and if he can get into the endzone - this could be a big win for Jackson. Murray has a tough Washington defense this week and he is going to need to scramble to stay alive. Zona is a team that is boom or bust with its offense... if Murray can get hot, this could be a very interesting matchup to keep an eye on.
Cocaine Favor: Depth... this is another team that has every positional play projected to score over 10 points, but not positional player projected to score over 20 points. If there is a chance at the upset, it would need to come in scoring through depth. There has not been a lot of big plays made from the players, but if they can stay consistent - there could be a chance.
Ertz Favor: WRs... I probably sound like a broken record for this team, but JJ and DK are playing great football with not-so-great QBs. You already know how I feel about JJ - best receiver in the league. If DK can have another big week, which definitely could happen against Detroit's secondary, this could be game over. It also helps that Jackson might be throwing the ball in Zay Flowers direction... who happens to be on Ertz's lineup.

Predicktion: Ertz when Eifert
Mystery Guest: Ertz when Eifert

Pendulous TD's (2-1) v Ankle Holster (2-1)

Matchup of the Week 2.0
Matchup to Watch: Hall v Achane... if I am being honest, this was going to be the actual Matchup of the Week (but how can you turn down J-Bones v J-Bones 2.0) and these two were a big reason for it. With the QB issues in Miami, Achane gets the ball... A LOT. He might be the 2nd fastest person in the league, the other is also in Miami. Hall was a top 3 RB going into the season and he is looking much more comfortable as Rodgers begins to get this offense rolling. If you remember back in Green Bay, Rodgers had no issues dumping the ball down to his RBs out of the backfield, now he has Hall.
TD's Favor: WRs... Nabers is amazing to watch. He reminds of OBJ... he is able to make every catch under the sun. Giants face off against Dallas in a big divisional battle... we will see if he likes the bright lights. JSN is a boom-or-bust player so far this season. He has 1 game where he caught 12 passes and then the other two weeks he had 5 combined catches. This week Seattle faces off against Detroit and it could fun seeing which receiver Geno decides to go to.
Ankle Favor: RBs... Ankle's team GM is adamant that his team has the best RB room - which might be correct, if you consider 3 RB's. Hall/Jacobs/Connors make a bulk of their points and will need to do it again this week. Hell, you could even throw in Allen as a pseudo running back and this team might get 5+ rushing touchdowns amongst them. If that happens, Ankle Holster is set to make a run at the top of their division.

Predicktion: Ankle Holster
Mystery Guest: Ankle Holster

Cleveland Streamers (1-2) v PEN15 Wrinkle (1-2)

Where will the points come from?
Matchup to Watch: London v Olave... these fantasy teams find themselves in the bottom 3 of points scored thus far this season. Two players who need to get things going would be London and Olave. Olave has average the most yards of separation among all WRs this season and now he gets to have his time against ATL's weak defense. On the flip side, ATL brought in Cousins to help with the offense, but he has yet to really get his big bodied receiver going. These two face-off and it would be fun if they both have big games at the same time.
Streamers Favor: TNF... there are three players playing in the TNF battle - Singletary/Dowdle/Lamb. If there can be close to 60 points scored between the three of them, I like Streamers chances. Lamb needs to have a big game, maybe a touchdown or two would help the cause. Singletary has the opportunities, touching the ball nearly 15 times a game - he needs to score this week.
Wrinkle Favor: 49ers... of all the players hurt on 49ers offense, none of them are on Wrinkle's team. Purdy might be banged up, but you have to think he is playing. Mason has been a terrific replacement for CMC and even though he doesn't have the receiving, he looks very comfortable running the ball. It also helps that the defense gets a struggling New England team this week.

Predicktion: Cleveland Streamers
Mystery Guest: Cleveland Streamers

As always, I wish everyone good luck - except for you, ARBL - may your entire lineup be forced to watch an entire WNBA game filled with layups, dribbling, passing, and more layups.

Week 3

There is nothing more than being in so many different leagues and having a sh*tty team in the league that you are A) Commissioner and B) See everyone, all the time.

ABSOLUTELY BLOWS.

On top of that, you end up playing a team that has guys on your other teams and you cheer as they make a big play - psyche, you are getting beat in the league that matters. Pride is a crazy thing...

You see, over the weekend I have bet and successfully lost $300 (I have a few "tailers" that also jumped on board), but I don't want to give up. It has nothing to do with the money, well - maybe a little, but I know that I can find a system that will beat the books. F*ck those guys, we are educated people! Some thing for Fantasy Football - I don't even care that this league is one of the cheaper leagues. I want to win because then I can talk sh*t to everyone. But nooooooooooo, my team is is booty cheeks (as the kids would call it).

Matchup of the Week
The J-Bones (1-2) v Llams (2-1)

Matchup to Watch: Waddle v Hill... I am saying it was close - but holy sh*t was it close. Waddle finished with 6.6 points and Hill finished with 7.0 points. What was the total team difference? .32 points. What was the difference in this matchup? .4
Players of Note: Dak and Deke... finally got it going, albeit in a losing effort. In the same NFL game, those two combined for 60 points - really making this matchup a close one. Unfortunately, Aaron Jones and Odunze decided to have their best games of the season as well. The crazier note... is Hill and Waddle really reliant on a decent QB. Miami looks absolutely lost with Skylar Thompson at the helm.

Predicktion: The J-Bones... WRONG!!
Mystery Guest: The J-Bones... WRONG!!

Connor's Stalions* (3-0) v Heat Hicks (0-3)

Matchup to Watch: Bijan might be the biggest question mark in all of fantasy football. Is Atlanta the place where talent goes to die? It has pretty much happened to Pitts and London as well - just something in the water. These guys with a surplus of talent go to Atlanta and nothing comes of it. In fantasy, scoring touchdowns is key and Atlanta is averaging the 6th fewest points in the league even though they are averaging over 300 yards a game.
Players of Note: Jayden Daniels is playing good football and is probably the heavy favorite to win Rookie of the Year. He has scored 5 total touchdowns and 3 of those are rushing... which is huge for a QB. The next three weeks has 2 of the top 5 defenses (before the season ranking), so we will see what that holds for Mr. Daniels.

Predicktion: Connor's Stalions... RIGHT!!
Mystery Guest: Connor's Stalions... RIGHT!!

Ankle Holster* (2-1) v Bootay Pirates (0-3)

Matchup to Watch: It is decided... Josh Allen is the MVP of the first quarter of the season. He showed last night that it does not matter who he is throwing the ball to, the Bills go as Josh Allen goes. So far this season, he has accounted for 9 total touchdowns and 0 interceptions. Hurts on the other hand has 4 total touchdowns and 4 interceptions. He looks lost without AJ Brown and has yet to really put together a complete game.
Players of Note: Rashee Rice is looking like the true number 1 option in KC and Mahomes began to favor him. KC looks to move him and Worthy around to find matchups that they prefer. The Indianapolis offense will always revolve around JT - he is strong candidate for top 5 in Fantasy MVP. On the flip side, Josh Allen is most likely the actual MVP - as well as Fantasy MVP. The Packers defense has a big week this week and helped propel the 3rd leg to victory.

Predicktion: Bootay Pirates... WRONG!!
Mystery Guest: Ankle Holster.... RIGHT!!

MAYEday (1-2) v Pendulous TD's 2-1)

Matchup to Watch: Ironically, MAYE ended up switching out the double TE lineup and just happen to put in Jennings - who had a career game and scored 46 points. Talk about a way to get introduced into the lineup. On top of that, MAYEday is now off the 0fer side of things and looks to keep things rolling next week.
Players of Note: Jennings was already discussed... but wow - what a week. Luckily Chase also decided to have a big week, even though the Bengals suck - they will be throwing the ball everywhere. Chase is the best player in that offense and will be getting a lot of targets. If you don't have Chase, hopefully you have Nabers. If this was a keeper league - I would trade my left nut for Nabers. Dat boy is good.

Predicktion: Pendulous TD's... WRONG!!
Mystery Guest: MAYEday... RIGHT!!

Love Hurts (1-2) v The J-Bones 2.0 (3-0)

Matchup to Watch: Turns out it wasn't necessarily Kamara v Williams... but instead Barkley v Williams. See, when you have the best RB duo - you can count on one of them to have a big week. This week it was Barkley. Star Wars Kyren matched his big week though and both RB's eclipsed the 30 point benchmark.  The J-Bones 2.0 is my early pick for the team to beat.
Players of Note: Even though he was not in the lineup, Chuba Hubbard had himself a game. He looks much more comfortable with Dalton at QB, honestly everyone in Carolina looks more comfortable with Dalton at QB. Love Hurts is officially a losing record team that has scored more points than scored against... yes - you read that correctly. Talk about an unfortunate first 3 weeks.

Predicktion: The J-Bones 2.0... RIGHT!!
Mystery Guest: Love Hurts... WRONG!!

Ertz when Eifert (3-0) v Cleveland Streamers (1-2)

Matchup to Watch: I would say that JJ and DK took care of business in this matchup of big-time receivers. It didn't help that Tampa decided to let Denver just walk all over them and Baker looked like he was back in Cleveland. However, Minny is officially one of the remaining undefeated teams and JJ is a big part of it. He has always been the best receiver in the league, the knock was Sam Darnold. I guess JJ can make anyone look good.
Players of Note: Montgomery gave Ertz their 3rd 20 point benchmark breaker this week (JJ and DK). When you can get 3 guys to break 20 points... it usually sets you up for success. Detroit looks very happy with their RBs and the timeshare and Montgomery is looking more and more like the trusted back. This is a huge benefit for Ertz and one of the reasons why they are also undefeated.

Predicktion: Cleveland Streamers... WRONG!!
Mystery Guest: Ertz when Eifert... RIGHT!!

Cocaine Cowboys (0-3) v PEN15 Wrinkle (2-1)

Matchup to Watch: If Josh Allen is the MVP Lamar Jackson might be 2nd place. Some teams have QB's who like to throw ball and some teams have QBs who like to run with the ball. Lamar is a special kind of QB who does both. In 3 games, Jackson has almost eclipsed 1,000 total yards - which would put him as the number 1 QB in total yards. Jackson will find his way into the MVP discussion and so far it without the help of Andrews and Hill.
Players of Note: Through 3 weeks, Olave has found the most yards of separation of any WR. This week it finally paid off and it looks like Carr is happy to spread the ball around - but he is beginning to find the big-time receiver a little more. Purdy also had a nice game, considering he is missing a large number of weapons. On the flip side, Kincaid almost had 2 TD's... but is trending in the right direction to looking like a top 3 TE.

Week 3 Predicktions

You know what my favorite thing is? People who complain about trade offers. In case you were unaware, you can do a variety of things with trade offers...

A) Accept: Obviously, the most desirable of all options.

B) Counter: The unique thing about countering... it doesn't have to involve the same people in the previous trade offer. It also keeps a conversation of player availability on each side. I may receive a trade offer from someone, then counter with new people for new people - I might include, "Bilal Powell is off the market currently." You begin to hopefully move towards common ground. Orrrrrr the counters move further away and you realize that there will be no deal made with this team at this time....

C) Decline: This is completely fine. Some people get mad, myself included. However, this at least says a couple things: I am not interested in trading at the moment.... The original trade offer is too far away from where I would like to be... I am active in the league and paying attention.

D) Let it sit and die: The most annoying of the options. The proper thing to do is at least respond, that we know you at least got it and pay attention to the league. I will be honest, this just recently happen to me - I truly did not see a trade offer and it say and died. The other owner said to me, "Nothing on my trade offer?"  I actually felt bad (yes, somewhere deep inside I do have the ability to have feelings). I hate that and I always try to at least respond.

Making trade offers is a good thing. It shows activity in the league and it shows that people are paying attention and conversating. Which is the idea behind the league - give us something to talk about. Let's be honest, we don't want to really talk about school and pedagogy and what not - we want to talk about sports and boobies.

Some people don't like trades, which is fine - their prerogative. I can just say this, I know that if I was stuck with my first girlfriend ever - I would hate my life. She was a terrible kisser and not really that enjoyable to hang out with. So I upgraded then upgraded again... then probably a few downgrades - but eventually you settle in on the right one. I got a good feeling, most teams are like my first girlfriend - terrible kissers. Go out and get you an upgrade...

Matchup of the Week
The J-Bones (1-1) v Llams (1-1)

Some people might be asking, "Why is this the matchup of the week?" Truthfully, there are not that many good matchups as it is... but with two teams sitting at .500 - it is dangerously important to try and get the win this week. Plus, both teams are in the same division and this will catapult one team up the standings in their division.

Matchup to Watch: Waddle v Hill... the biggest question of the season: Who is going to throw these guys the ball? It will be intriguing to see what happens with this offense and whether or not they are able to keep their big play receivers fed.
The J-Bones Favor: Defense/Kicker... oddly enough (if you look a little lower) - these teams have the same favor. Amongst these two teams, there is not a Defense or Kicker ranked lower than 4th. There also might not be a better feeling than having a defense that is lining up against a team that has only scored 1 offensive touchdown this season. LAC has a gift to face-off against Pittsburgh... if I was a betting man, I might take the under in this game. Moody gets the Rams - both teams are missing big-time playmakers which may force the coaches to take points when they can.
The Llams Favor: Defense/Kicker... yes... I hate typing this. It is sooooo odd to make this their favor. Hear me out, Brandon Aubrey is the second highest scoring player on Llams team. Yes, the KICKER is the 2nd highest. One might think this is a bad thing, but he is averaging 19 points a week. The Bears defense is only winning games because of their defense and this week they get an Indy offense that is still trying to find itself.

Predicktion: The J-Bones
Mystery Guest: The J-Bones

Connor's Stalions (2-0) v Heat Hicks (0-2)

Lopsided on paper, but that is why they play the games
Matchup to Watch: Bijan/Gesicki v Cook/Bowers... there were trade talks with these two teams, inevitably fizzled out - but there were talks. Bowers and Bijan were involved, it will be interesting to see how those player perform in a week when they face-off. On top of that, Cook is coming off a 3 touchdown week - if Hicks wants a chance, that can not happen again.
Stalions Favor: Pass catchers... Nico/ARSB/Bowers/Aiyuk are all projected to finish to finish near the top of their position this week. That is a huge benefit to have that many guys that should get close 50 combined targets. You would think that would equal multiple touchdowns in this core. ARSB needs to be healthy and cleared to play and this is a huuuuuge advantage for Stalions.
Hicks Favor: RBs... there are not many teams that this trio will not be the favor for Hicks, many because everywhere else is struggling. There was a thought was to go heavy on RB and hope you can hit on WRs (which has not happened). The trio is projected to score nearly 20 points and Robinson leads the way with 20 projected points - but he also has not reached the endzone yet... will this be the week? Needs to be.

Predicktion: Connor's Stalions
Mystery Guest: Connor's Stalions

Ankle Holster (1-1) v Bootay Pirates (0-2)

Will this be the week the ole' vet gets their win?
Matchup to Watch: Allen v Hurts... coming into the season both these QBs were in the top end of the MVP race. Allen has clearly pulled away from Hurts and is looking much stronger in terms of production. Hurts finally found his legs in week 2, but the Eagles lost. Will Philly move back towards keeping Hurts in the pocket? Will AJ Brown be back? If Hurts wants this matchup to stay close... he needs to run the ball close to 10 times.
Holster Favor: RBs... Hall/Jacobs/Connor make a deadly trio. Jacobs should realistically touch the ball 20+ times (32 times rushing last week). Hall is just as good catching the ball as he is running the ball. Connor is on a Cardinals team that is looking really good on the offensive side of the ball and Connor is a big reason why.
Bootay Favor: WRs... Adams and Rice are seeing a lot of balls thrown their way and if you didn't know Adams catches everything that hits his hands - just check out his toe-tapper in week 2. Demarcus Robinson is going to be the X-factor. The Rams are now down Kupp and Puka and Robinson is the expected next man up. If he can get to 15 points, this matchup leans heavily in favor of Bootay.

Predicktion: Bootay Pirates
Mystery Guest: Ankle Holster

MAYEday (0-2) v Pendulous TD's (2-0)

Upset ensuing?
Matchup to Watch: TE's... MAYE is going with the double stack TE matchup... Likely and Engram. Likely is going to be hit or miss... but when he is good, he is really good. Engram is a top 5 TE when healthy, the issue is that he will be week-to-week for about 4 weeks. On the flip side, LaPorta was the consensus top-tier TE at the start of the season. He has yet to live up to that potential, which means he is due. LaPorta has a great matchup against the Cardinals - who are notoriously weak in the middle. If LaPorta doesn't have a big week this week, it could spell trouble for the season.
MAYE Favor: Big Plays... outside of Mahomes (who is pretty consistent), there are a lot of players that could make big time plays. Chase and Moore both had 3+ weeks where they score 30+ points last season. Swift had huge weeks last season as well, but the team switch has not gone well for him. On top of that, Likely is a boom-or-bust TE. If there are a few big plays for this side, this matchup could get out of hand quickly.
Pendulous Favor: Matchups... most of the matchups for Pendulous' players are in favor - whether ESPN knows it or not. Nabers has a tough matchup against Cleveland, but after that it is smooth sailing. LaPorta has a good matchup (Cardinals), JSN has Mia, and Mayers has a weak Carolina team. There could be plenty of decent points scored solely because the matchups are in favor of the players.

Predicktion: Pendulous TD's
Mystery Guest: MAYEday

Love Hurts (1-1) v The J-Bones 2.0 (2-0)

Belt versus former Belt Fairy
Matchup to Watch: Kamara v Williams... Kamara is turning back the clock and looking like his old self with Brees at QB. Carr is looking good and he knows where his big-time players are - which mostly Kamara. Williams should get the ball plenty, especially with Kupp and Puka out. Williams is a great player and as long as he doesn't get hurt - he should have a good week. The only issue... Pitt defense is arguably the best defense in the league.
Love Favor: Trends... MHJ is becoming the go to receiver in Zona, and for good reason. Yes, he finished with only 4 catches - the game was already put away and there was no need to continue to throw the ball downfield. Kittle is on a team that does not have CMC or possibly Deebo (at least will not be 100%), which leaves Aiyuk and Kittle. The Rams are soft in the secondary which should allow Kittle and Aiyuk to have big days. Williams in the same boat, playing on a team that has lost 2 playmakers only leaves more opportunity for him.
J-Bones 2.0 Favor: The Deadly Duo... Barkley and Kamara form the best RB duo, would have been the trio if Pacheco did not get hurt. Barkley is a key player for Philly and he saw 25+ touches last week. Kamara was already addressed earlier - but he is currently the best RB in fantasy and for good reason. It helps that he already has 5 touchdowns in two weeks (that pace will not hold up), but he is also getting plenty of touches - 20+ touches each week.

Predicktion: The J-Bones 2.0
Mystery Guest: Love Hurts

Ertz when Eifert (2-0) v Cleveland Streamers (1-1)

Will the farter continue the hot start?
Matchup to Watch: WR Battle... In one corner, we have JJ/DK/Zay and in the other corner we CeeDee/Evans/London. It is quite an interesting battle between 6 different WR1's for their respective teams. If Jefferson is healthy, Ertz's side looks extremely strong - however, if there is any type of snap restriction on him... you have to go with Streamers. Flowers and Lamb will be playing in the same game and it looks like there are not many options for either team to throw the ball towards. London caught the game winner last week - will that carry over?
Ertz Favor: Depth... outside of the TE position, most positional players are primed to have a decent week. Let's say two, maybe three, can score 20+ - the depth on the rest of the roster should help scored plenty of points. If Mixon and JJ are able to play in their game (same game), that will be the game to watch - with two offenses that are moving the ball well.
Streamers Favor: Pass-Catchers... it is a common theme with this team. Until things change - it will probably continue to be a common theme. If this team wants to win, it needs to happen with hands that catch the ball. There is a good chance that 80% of the points scored this week come from Lamb/Evans/McBride/London - if three guys can find the endzone and crack 20+ points, I like this sides chances.

Predicktion: Cleveland Streamers
Mystery Guest: Ertz when Eifert

Cocaine Cowboys (0-2) v PEN15 Wrinkle (1-1)

One win (lucky matchup) aways from a cellar dweller battle...
Matchup to Watch: Jackson v Hill/Andrews... Lamar Jackson has not looked like himself when it comes to throwing the ball. Given, that was never his strong suit - but something needs to change for him to help Baltimore secure their first win. However, that change would involve looking Andrews way a little more. Hill and Andrews make-up 2 of the 3 big playmakers for Baltimore. Even though it is 1 v 2... if Hill and Andrews can keep this matchup close, it is a big win for Wrinkle.
Cocaine Favor: Injuries... I am not talking about injuries to their players, but touch competitors. Spears is questionable coming into this week... Leaves more touches for Pollard. ARSB is questionable... more touches for Gibbs and Jamo. AJ Brown is questionable, leaves more touches for Devonta. Plus, who the hell knows what is happening with Clevelands backfield.
Wrinkle Favor: WR Separation... Pickens/Olave/Wilson all are in the top 5 of wide receiver separation. In fact, Pickens has had 150 yards and touchdown called back for penalties. The NYJets have yet to really hit their stride, but Wilson has seen the most targets in the first two years of play. One would think Rodgers will begin to keep that trend going. Olave is playing on the hottest team in the NFL right now and Kamara can't keep this up. Eventually, New Orleans will have to throw the ball in the 4Q - that just means Olave is going to get looks.

Week 2 Results

This is the week that is some deep inner thoughts happening...

Is my team good enough?

What do I need to do to switch up the mojo?

Did I just donate $20?

Should I jack-off standing or sitting?

Trust me, there are a lot of people that are pondering these questions. There are three teams that are 0-2 (Heat Abba Goad Hicks/??/??) and it does not look good for them. Luckily, it is early and the fantasy season is young - but something needs to change. Some teams are making moves and there has already been rumors of more trades in the works. A few trades that have happened...

A) DJ Moore to MAYEday for Puka Nacua to Heat Hicks
For a team that is 0-2, trading for a player that is on the IR might not have been the play. Heat Hicks is going to need to grab a few wins during this time if this trade is going to work out. Luckily, Moore has not been great - frankly, the entire Chicago offense has struggled. Moore is still getting 10+ points each week, but for a guy that finished near the top last year - he has to start performing or MAYEday is in trouble as well.

B) Dalton Kincaid to Cowboys for George Pickens to Wrinkle
This was a needed trade for Wrinkle and Cowboys has always liked Kincaid. The issue becomes whether or not this will be enough to help Wrinkle in the long run. Pickens is a receiver that has the skill set, the question is the QB that is throwing him the ball. Kincaid works for Cowboys... it just hasn't seemed to work out for the Bills. It is strange, Kincaid should be getting 10+ targets a game on that team but Josh Allen is convinced otherwise.

C) Who will be the next trade?

Matchup of the Week
Ankle Holster* (1-1) v Ertz when Eifert (2-0)

When a MotW does not live up to the hype, it can be a little disheartening. This is your time to shine and then you throw up 90 points???
Matchup to Watch: I said I like JJ and DK better... I was not wrong (obviously). However, this comes at what cost? Jefferson left the game with an injury, as long as he is good to go - he should be a target monster... but this is now the 2nd injury in 2 years for JJ. On the flip side, Worthy and Diggs scored 11.9 points COMBINED. That is just not going to get it done.
Players of Note: The trio of Jacobs/Hall/Conners is a definite positive. This just goes to show that there needs to be some kind of bonus - otherwise a player like Jacobs is not properly rewarded. We are talking about a guy who had over 150 rushing yards... and was still only rewarded 13 points. There are just too many explosions to highlight one player for the Ertz... Murray/JJ/DK/Zay all scored more than 20 points. That is a good recipe for success.

Predicktion: Ankle Holster... WRONG!!
Mystery Guest: Ankle Holster... WRONG!!

Pendulous TD's (2-0) v Heat Hicks (0-2)

One team surging to the top, one team surging to the bottom...
Matchup to Watch: Well, not having CMC proved to be a huge problem - his backup didn't score a single point. However, Achane had himself a big-time game - nearly scoring 30 points. Robinson/Etienne won the battle, but not by nearly enough with one of the opposing RB's scoring zero points.
Players of Note: Achane/Nabers/JSN all scored more than 20 points, with Nabers and Achane nearly getting to 30 points. Nabers is going to be fed the ball early and often... considering an uncle tom named WanDale is his target competitor. It is hard to look at the other side and really point fingers, Johnson clearly did not pull his weight - but other than that, the players are scoring decent points. They are just not having that explosive game like what is needed to be successful in fantasy football.

Predicktion: Heat Abba Goad Hicks... WRONG!!
Mystery Guest: Heat Abba Goad Hicks... WRONG!!

The J-Bones 2.0* (2-0) v Bootay Pirates (0-2)

It is Belt Time!!!
Matchup to Watch: This was actually a great matchup throughout the entire MNF game. Early going, it looked like Barkley was just going to keep ripping off 10 yard chunks at a time. Then Hurts got in on the action and he starting ripping off big runs. It is amazing that all that was happening and Atlanta still won the game. In terms of fantasy, Hurts and Pitts won the matchup - but not by a lot and Barkley looks like a stud in Philly for the long run.
Players of Note: Alvin Kamara. You want to win the belt in this league? You better have someone go absolutely crazy... Kamara was that guy. We are talking 180 yards from scrimmage and 4 touchdowns. The guy turned back the clock and looked like vintage Kamara. We are aware that he was drafted as the 17th RB - he is now sitting at number 1.

Predicktion: The J-Bones 2.0... RIGHT!!
Mystery Guest: The J-Bones 2.0... RIGHT!!

Cleveland Streamers (1-1) v Cocaine Cowboys (0-2)

Two 0-1 teams looking for a win, only one leaves happy - they other is still searching for an answer...
Matchup to Watch: This matchup was very underwhelming. AR is struggling in the Indy offense, whether it is overthrows or lack trust in his receivers - he is struggling. On the flip side, you would think that Lamar would absolutely tear up the Raiders defense... not so fast. Not only did Baltimore lose the game, Lamar was held for under 50 rushing yards - that needs to change in week 3.
Players of Note: If you just look at the box score, nobody jumps out to you. If you watch the games... McBride might be the most important player for the Streamers. McBride was still able to score 18 points off of 6 catches and 60+ yards, how is that possible? He also dove on a fumble and scored a touchdown that way. In a game that was out of hand in a hurry, McBride is still able to score points. He looks like a lock for the top three in TE's.

Predicktion: Cocaine Cowboys... WRONG!!

The J-Bones (1-1) v Connor's Stalions (2-0)

There is one team that does not need a lot of inner soul searching...
Matchup to Watch: This ended up being a little lopsided, in part because AJ Brown did not play. It did not matter though, ARSB and Nico both scored over 20 points and walked away with this matchup easily. Yet again, we have a top level receiver who had a big game - but will need to be watched with an injury. ARSB is clearly the top guy... but if he is hurt this is a big hole to replace.
Players of Note: Nobody scored more than 20 points for The J-Bones... but Henry did show that he can score points in the Baltimore running game. I predict more games like this if Baltimore wants to save Lamar for the long run... still don't know how they lost this game. On the flip side, everybody needs to change their tune on James Cook (myself included). This is either the big breakout game and things will continue this way for him (3 touchdowns) or he will come back down to earth in a hurry. The Bills offense looks convinced to continue to give him opportunities... and that equals fantasy success.

Predicktion: The J-Bones... WRONG!!
Mystery Guest: The J-Bones... WRONG!!

PEN15 Wrinkle (1-1) v MAYEday (0-2)

Somebody had to win...
Matchup to Watch: Engram ended up not playing and looks like he might be week to week now. This matchup did not live up to the hype, Andrews finished under 10 points and Likely finished under 5 points. It is intriguing that TE's from the same team matched-up... the incumbent Pro-Bowler led the way.
Players of Note: No player scored over 18 fantasy points in this matchup and in total 4 players reached their projections... and that includes 2 kickers. Something needs to change for these teams... there is value in the lineups and the owners will have decide if they are willing to cash-in on the value and trade around or if they are going to ride it out and hope the players start to perform.

Predicktion: MAYEday... WRONG!!
Mystery Guest: MAYEday... WRONG!!

ARBL (1-1) v Love Hurts (1-1)

Man things can change in one week...
Matchup to Watch: Check it out... Murray realized that he has arguably the best rookie wide receiver on his team. MHJ finally had the game that everyone expected, sure it was only 4 catches... but it was for 130 yards and 2 touchdowns. On the flip side, things went from bad to worse for Hill - who lost his starting QB... possibly for good. Watson looked incapable of throwing a pass to Cooper on target and even though the Browns won, their offense looks out of sorts.
Players of Note: Shockingly, ARBL's bad week still does not put them in the bottom 5 all-time. They only score 58 points in total... nothing to be noted clearly. On the other hand, Kittle and MHJ scored over 20 points and Deebo nearly got there. With CMC on the IR, Deebo is going to be a guy that gets plenty of opportunities with the ball... this is someone that could have a big next couple of weeks.

Week 2 Predicktions

The name of the game is do not overreact. It is only week 1, check out this long list of poor performers...

Christian McCaffrey (RB1): Did not even play
Raheem Mostert (RB5): 3.9 points and ranked 50th
Amom-Ra Brown (WR3): 4.3 points and ranked 71st
Puka Nucua (WR4): 8.2 points and ranked 50th (also injured)
DJ Moore (WR5): 10 points and ranked 41st
Jamarr Chase (WR11): 12.2 points and ranked 28th (contract issues)
Sam Laporta (TE1): 8.5 points and ranked 8th (still 6 points less than average)
Evan Engram (TE2): 1.5 points and ranked 44th

The name of the game is to not overreact. Given, there are teams that probably can not overreact enough. There are teams that need to peruse the waiver wire and find out who to pick-up. Do you like Blondes or Brunettes? Booty or Boobs? Easy or Hard to Get? I mean at this point if you have looked around our waiver wire you are pretty much asking yourself to drive around the back alleys and see what is sleeping under the refrigerator box. Personally, I like the less teeth the better.

Matchup of the Week
Ankle Holster* (1-0) v Ertz Eifert (1-0)

Matchups to Watch: Speaking of not overreacting, let's calm the premature boner on Ankle Holster. The wide-receiver matchup is something that I have my eye on: Diggs/Reed v Jefferson/Metcalf. I like JJ and DK better for overall talent on the football field and situation in fantasy. Reed is currently the number 1 receiver in fantasy, but he just lost his starting QB - don't count on anything wild happening again.
Ankle Favor: Touchdowns... Allen has a way to find his way into the endzone. Breece is one of the most complete backs and will most likely find the endzone this week. Jacobs is officially the focal point of the offense, touchdowns incoming. This team scored 8 touchdowns (rushing/receiving) in week 1, look for them to come close to that number again.
Ertz Favor: Pass-catchers. Jefferson is the most talented WR in the league. Metcalf is the number WR in Seattle. Flowers looks like the focal point of the Baltimore air attack. If this team has a chance to stay unblemished in this high powered fantasy matchups, it is going to need a big week from receivers and an off-week from Ankle (don't bet on it).

Predicktion: Ankle Holster
Mystery Guest: Ankle Holster

Pendulous TD's (1-0) v Heat Hicks (0-1)

Matchups to Watch: RB's... We have CMC/Achane against Bijan/Etienne. This is a high-powered matchup, in 2023 they all finished in the top 15 in PPG and three of the four finished inside the top 10 overall ranking. The big question is whether or not CMC is going to play... if he does, this is a huge for Pendulous... if he does not, it is a huuuuge problem.
Pendulous Favor: Law of Averages... with CMC not playing, he is only due to have a big week. JSN and LaPorta had a rough week - could be a big week to counteract the tough week 1. Ravens Def (I can't believe I am writing about a defense) gets to face a LV offense that is just ready to turn the ball over. This could be a big bounce back week for Pendulous.
Heat Hicks Favor: RBs... Robinson/Etienne/Dobbins combined for 50 touches of the ball. There is going to be plenty of opportunity for the big trio of RBs, will they payoff the coaches? If this team wants any chance at finding a win, it will come from them and a luck draw of the carousel that is the pass-catchers.

Predicktion: Heat Abba Goad Hicks
Mystery Guest: Heat Abbe Goad Hicks

The J-Bones 2.0 (1-0) v Bootay Pirates (0-1)

If you are big projections guy... this is the matchup for you.
Matchups to Watch: Philly v ATL... In this matchup we have 4 marquee players (Barkley/Goedert v Hurts/Pitts). There were a lot of people down on Barkley (myself included), but boy does he look good when used in a decent offense. He is currently the number ranked RB and this week he has a nice matchup against a weak ATL defense. However, I am a big believer in Jalen Hurts this season (for now) and I love his matchup against the secondary. I think Hurts has a big game, but we will have to see if the game script shifts to just handing the ball off in the 2nd half.
The 2.0 Favor: RBs.... Barkley/Pacheco/Kamara scored over 70 points in week 1 and they all are looking good for their matchups in week 2. We already talked about the ATL defense and now Pacheco gets the Cincy defense that gave up 20+ fantasy points to Rhamondre Stevenson. Also, Kamara looks like he is clearly the focal point of the offense - and he faces off with Dallas defense who gave up close to 20 points to Jerome Ford (and that was a negative game script for the Browns).
The Bootay Favor: Depth... there are multiple players that have the chance to have a big week. With JT getting the Packers after a flight back from Brazil and losing their QB, it could be good for him to get going. Rashee Rice looks like he is going to be the possession receiver... which is nice in a PPR. Jalen Hurts always has the chance to break the 25 point barrier. This team has depth and has a chance for big things.

Predicktion: The J-Bones 2.0
Mystery Guest: The J-Bones 2.0

Cleveland Streamers (0-1) v Cocaine Cowboys (0-1)

A battle for the state of Ohio....
Matchups to Watch: Lamar v AR17... this is going to be an interesting fantasy battle of scrambling QBs. Neither QB looked seriously on point throwing the ball, but they can move around the field. These QBs combined for 113 yards and a rushing touchdown. With the matchups both QBs have, we might see one quarterback reach that on their own.
Streamers Favor: WRs... Lamb is a straight up beast. Personally, I am always skeptical on the WRs and how good they actually will be, but shiiiiiiiiit that ni**a is good! Dak knows where his big-time playmaker is and he going to feed him. Dallas does a good job moving him around and Lamb should touch the ball close to 15 times a game. Not too mention, Mike Evans has one of the most "throw it up and hope" QBs throwing him the ball. Watching Baker Mayfield play QB is like watching a 3rd grader play Madden with on rookie. Mayfield just throws the ball in his receivers direction and they typically come down with it. Plenty of opportunity for the boys catching the ball here.
Cocaine Favor: Firepower... When you look at Cocaine Cowboys lineup you think one thing big plays. Devonta Smith, Jahmyr Gibbs, Jameson Williams are all playmakers and all have the chance to make big-time plays. The downfield threats are countless on this team... that is not even counting Lamar Jackson - who might one of the biggest big-play threats. If a few players can connect on some big plays... you might be able to see some large scoring from this side.

Predicktion: Cocaine Cowboys
Mystery Guest: Cocaine Cowboys

The J-Bones (1-0) v Connor's Stalions (1-0)

The 2nd Matchup of the Week...
Matchups to Watch: WRs... for those that are worried about ARSB... come your horses. He will be fine, just fine. Which means you have ARSB/Nico v AJB/Waddle which could be where you see the bulk of the points being scored come from. AJB had a good first week, thanks in part to a 70 yard touchdown reception and Waddle crossed the 100 yard mark. That means either they blew their load early in the season, or they are just going to keep scoring.
J-Bones Favor: WRs... AJB/Waddle/Kupp are studs and this team is looking good with the pass catchers. Puka is out for LAR and that leaves Kupp as THE guy for Stafford to throw the ball. All three of them crossed the 100 yard mark last week and if they continue (which looks promising), this could be another big week for the Boners. Can you just imagine if he would have gotten all the players he wanted in the draft?
Stalions Favor: Young Legs... A bulk of the sign-stealers line-up consists of players that 3-years in the league or younger. This can be a good thing when you have guys that are able mostly healthy and young and sometimes don't know any better than to just run around and try to make a name for themselves. Jayden Daniels needs to stay healthy and if he can, he can be Lamar 2.0. Rushing QBs make a huge difference and Daniels is going to have to scramble like crazy - Washington's offense is nothing special.

Predicktion: The J-Bones
Mystery Guest: The J-Bones

PEN15 Wrinkle (0-1) v MAYEday (0-1)

A battle of the bottom feeders...
Matchup to Watch: TEs.... Andrews v Engram presents the most intriguing matchup for these two teams. Both teams are going to struggle this season, but the TEs might be a bright spot for either squad. Both of these TEs finished inside the top 5 last season and both TEs struggled in week 1. That means that this could be a big week for both pass catchers. If you had to tell me who the top receivers are for Baltimore and Jacksonville - I would probably tell you, both TEs.
Wrinkle Favor: 49ers... in San Fran we trust. If CMC does not play (which is trending that way) and Mason is not in the doghouse with boys upstairs, he is in line to have another big week. After that, I trust the defense (yup, just typed that out) against Sam Darnold more than most defenses. Purdy looks more and more like a stud throwing the ball and he is in control of the weapons he has.
MAYE favor: Matchups... outside of Jacksonville playing against Cleveland (a better defense than what was showcased in week 1), there are a lot of good matchups for this lineup. Stevenson plays against a Seattle defense that lost one of their top linebackers in the offseason and allowed Denver to move the ball in week 1. Swift has Houston, who is more concerned about scoring points than stopping them, and Mahomes gets Cincy - one of the biggest upsets in week 1.

Predicktion: MAYEday
Mystery Guest: MAYEday

ARBL (1-0) v Love Hurts (0-1)

Matchups to Watch: WRs... as long as Hill doesn't get arrested this seems like an enticing battle. Hill and Cooper are the number 1 receivers for their squad, although Watson doesn't look like he is capable of throwing ball accurately more than 5 yards. Samuels is going to get used in a variety of ways and should touch the ball close to 15 times this week. The question comes down to whether or not Zona will actually decide to use MHJ this week. He was open multiple times in week 1 and Murray just continued to play backyard ball.
ARBL Favor: The stack... if you had to pick a QB/WR stack to have this season, it would be Tag and Hill. They can explode at any given time and most of the time it just takes one big play. Hill is a guy that you can give the ball to 5 yards off the line of scrimmage and then he takes it 60+ yards to the house. Not to mention, many people have forgotten that Tua did lead the league in passing last year.
Love Favor: RBs... it is not that the RBs jump off the charts, it is that there is plenty of opportunity there. Williams is the clear bell-cow for LAR, White is the definite guy for LV and Ekeler looks like the preferred passing option in Washington. With all of that being said, Deebo is most likely going to see the ball out of the backfield in San Fran - which essentially gives this lineup multiple touches to score some big points.

Predicktion: ARBL
Mystery Guest: Love Hurts

As always, good luck to everyone - except for you, Pendulous TD's - may your entire roster be forced to watch a WNBA game filled with layups, dribbling, passing, and more layups.

Week 1 Results

Annnnnddd we are off and running... week 1 is in the books and I am ready to get things rolling. Having football back really shortens the week up - there is a game on Monday nights and you look forward to Thursdays - who doesn't love that? This week the NFL broadened their reach and had a game played in Brazil. I don't know about you, but I am completely fine going to Brazil.... give me a nice mamacita over a London swine any day.

I mean sure, London sounds great - but that is just for those that have never been there. It is dirtier than normal and the female persuasion is not overly beholding to the eye. On the flip side, have you ever seen pictures of Carnaval?? Do yourself a favor, turn-off the wifi and google "Carnaval Females" - you will thank me later.

To be honest, I was at a viewing/funeral/burial all week and it has been tough to find time to write this. The shame is Chaz's theory does not apply to anyone directly in the family of the lost one - guess I am rocking the hand for the rest of the week. By the time the Thursday night game rolls around, I might not even be able to deal the cards everything will be cramped up!

Matchup of the Week
Heat Hicks v J-Bones

This was a rough go for the Heat Hicks... there may be some activity on the trade block in the early stages of the season for the squad munching on a bag o' dicks. On the flip side, The J-Bones received a huge boost from Mr. Kupp... possibly the greatest white receiver to play the game?

In the battle of the receivers, Kupp/Brown/Waddle showcased that they are big-time players. Not only did the beat the Heat Hicks receivers, they nearly outscore the positional players for the Heat Hicks. It is early, but if The J-Bones can get that kind of output from the receivers, they will be a team to beat in this league.

Prediction: Heat Hicks... WRONG!!
Mystery Guest: The J-Bones.... RIGHT!!

Cleveland Streamers v The J-Bones II

Which Cleveland performance was worse - Browns or Streamers? Neither performance was really pretty. One team had decent QB play... it wasn't the Browns. One team had decent WR play... it wasn't the Browns. After that, a lot of similarities - to be fair the Cowboys played quite well.... much like the 2.0's.

In the QB battle, AR17 won the fantasy format - Stroud won the NFL matchup. However, it ended up not really mattering when the RB trio for 2.0 (Barkley/Pacheco/Kamara) end up scoring 71 points on their own. A very solid performance for a team looking to send a message.

Prediction: The J-Bones 2.0... RIGHT!!
Mystery Guest: The J-Bones 2.0... RIGHT!!

Pendulous TD's v PEN15 Wrinkle

Just think about this, with just MNF to go - Wrinkle scored 29.1 points... WOOF. Some might say, "Yeah, but he probably has a bunch of 49ers players." He didn't have CMC.... turns-out it didn't matter. CMC was a surprise inactive and Jordan Mason filled the spot fantastically. It just wasn't enough for Wrinkle... which might be a normal weekly outcome. Wrinkle needs to do something or they might be the fastest eliminated team in league history.

On the flip side, Pendulous should be fine... only not breaking the 100 point mark because the late inactive of the CMC. Will he stick with Joey B or rock with Goff - neither looked amazing in terms of fantasy productive. The QB position is another one of those positions where you need a scrambling QB and if not, good luck (trust me, I know)!

Prediction: Pendulous TD's... RIGHT!!
Mystery Guest: Pendulous TD's.... RIGHT!!

Bootay Pirates v ARBL

Rumor has it, Tyreek is fast - running or driving. You guessed it - that ni**a is speeding to the game, during the game, and most likely after the game. Even the cuffs couldn't keep Hill from breaking the 20 point benchmark. It also helped that the Bears defense decided to score 26 points as well... not sure Mr. Fingernails can keep counting on that outcome every week.

Let's just call it what it is... when can you ever expect to score 47 combined points?!?!? You can't... but when it happens, you look up - say "Thank-you" and move on to the next week.

Prediction: ARBL... RIGHT!!
Mystery Guest: Bootay Pirates... WRONG!!

Cocaine Cowboys v Ankle Holster

To be truthful, I want to sit here and praise Ankle Holster for winning the belt... F*CK DAT GUY!!! He prematurely sent out a text thrusting the Pete Webber "suck-it" sign to all of us. Every league needs a good villain and I present everyone with Ankle Holster. It is tough to find a weak spot on the roster and this was the perfect storm for Ankle to just start his origin story.

On the flip side, Cocaine Cowboys just got beat by the luck of the draw. They would have beaten 9 teams this week... unfortunate. It is very easy to pick out the weak spot for them... TE - but if you don't have a top guy, you are essentially flipping a coin anyways. I am just not sure I would flip the coin on a weekly basis with with Mr. Johnny Cundt.

Prediction: Ankle Holster... RIGHT!!
Mystery Guest: Ankle Holster... RIGHT!!

Connor's Stalions v Brotherly Love

The new weekly game is going to be if Jayden Daniels really is the Lamar Jackson 2.0. I feel like every rookie QB that runs around like he does gets hurt by week 4... I am not wish ill-will on anyone, but I am definitely not knocking on wood. It was just a steady performance for the sign stealers and this probably needed to be a week that Brotherly Love won, because it could get rough in the next few weeks.

Love is out for 3-8 weeks, his backup is Stafford. One might think, that is not terrible - but he just lost one his top guys for a good amount of time. All you really need to do to stop Stafford is double team a white guy on the outside. Surprisingly, Brotherly Love beats two other teams in this league this week... the team that I think is the worst team in the league and....

Prediction: Connor Stalions... RIGHT!!
Mystery Guest: Brotherly Love... WRONG!!

MAYEday v Ertz when Eifert

MAYEday. Wowza, they would have lost to every team in the league this week and they lose Puka for the time being. Things could not get much worse for MAYEday.. maybe something will look different in the future?

For Ertz they get the luck of the draw, but Joe Mixon looks like a bright spot for them. Will he hold up? Murray looks like his old self; running around, not know where his star receiver is, playing backyard football. Ertz has one weakness... bench depth - will this team hold up in the long grind of the season?

Prediction: MAYEday... WRONG!!
