There is nothing more than being in so many different leagues and having a sh*tty team in the league that you are A) Commissioner and B) See everyone, all the time.
ABSOLUTELY BLOWS.
On top of that, you end up playing a team that has guys on your other teams and you cheer as they make a big play - psyche, you are getting beat in the league that matters. Pride is a crazy thing...
You see, over the weekend I have bet and successfully lost $300 (I have a few "tailers" that also jumped on board), but I don't want to give up. It has nothing to do with the money, well - maybe a little, but I know that I can find a system that will beat the books. F*ck those guys, we are educated people! Some thing for Fantasy Football - I don't even care that this league is one of the cheaper leagues. I want to win because then I can talk sh*t to everyone. But nooooooooooo, my team is is booty cheeks (as the kids would call it).
Matchup of the Week
The J-Bones (1-2) v Llams (2-1)
Matchup to Watch: Waddle v Hill... I am saying it was close - but holy sh*t was it close. Waddle finished with 6.6 points and Hill finished with 7.0 points. What was the total team difference? .32 points. What was the difference in this matchup? .4
Players of Note: Dak and Deke... finally got it going, albeit in a losing effort. In the same NFL game, those two combined for 60 points - really making this matchup a close one. Unfortunately, Aaron Jones and Odunze decided to have their best games of the season as well. The crazier note... is Hill and Waddle really reliant on a decent QB. Miami looks absolutely lost with Skylar Thompson at the helm.
Predicktion: The J-Bones... WRONG!!
Mystery Guest: The J-Bones... WRONG!!
Connor's Stalions* (3-0) v Heat Hicks (0-3)
Matchup to Watch: Bijan might be the biggest question mark in all of fantasy football. Is Atlanta the place where talent goes to die? It has pretty much happened to Pitts and London as well - just something in the water. These guys with a surplus of talent go to Atlanta and nothing comes of it. In fantasy, scoring touchdowns is key and Atlanta is averaging the 6th fewest points in the league even though they are averaging over 300 yards a game.
Players of Note: Jayden Daniels is playing good football and is probably the heavy favorite to win Rookie of the Year. He has scored 5 total touchdowns and 3 of those are rushing... which is huge for a QB. The next three weeks has 2 of the top 5 defenses (before the season ranking), so we will see what that holds for Mr. Daniels.
Predicktion: Connor's Stalions... RIGHT!!
Mystery Guest: Connor's Stalions... RIGHT!!
Ankle Holster* (2-1) v Bootay Pirates (0-3)
Matchup to Watch: It is decided... Josh Allen is the MVP of the first quarter of the season. He showed last night that it does not matter who he is throwing the ball to, the Bills go as Josh Allen goes. So far this season, he has accounted for 9 total touchdowns and 0 interceptions. Hurts on the other hand has 4 total touchdowns and 4 interceptions. He looks lost without AJ Brown and has yet to really put together a complete game.
Players of Note: Rashee Rice is looking like the true number 1 option in KC and Mahomes began to favor him. KC looks to move him and Worthy around to find matchups that they prefer. The Indianapolis offense will always revolve around JT - he is strong candidate for top 5 in Fantasy MVP. On the flip side, Josh Allen is most likely the actual MVP - as well as Fantasy MVP. The Packers defense has a big week this week and helped propel the 3rd leg to victory.
Predicktion: Bootay Pirates... WRONG!!
Mystery Guest: Ankle Holster.... RIGHT!!
MAYEday (1-2) v Pendulous TD's 2-1)
Matchup to Watch: Ironically, MAYE ended up switching out the double TE lineup and just happen to put in Jennings - who had a career game and scored 46 points. Talk about a way to get introduced into the lineup. On top of that, MAYEday is now off the 0fer side of things and looks to keep things rolling next week.
Players of Note: Jennings was already discussed... but wow - what a week. Luckily Chase also decided to have a big week, even though the Bengals suck - they will be throwing the ball everywhere. Chase is the best player in that offense and will be getting a lot of targets. If you don't have Chase, hopefully you have Nabers. If this was a keeper league - I would trade my left nut for Nabers. Dat boy is good.
Predicktion: Pendulous TD's... WRONG!!
Mystery Guest: MAYEday... RIGHT!!
Love Hurts (1-2) v The J-Bones 2.0 (3-0)
Matchup to Watch: Turns out it wasn't necessarily Kamara v Williams... but instead Barkley v Williams. See, when you have the best RB duo - you can count on one of them to have a big week. This week it was Barkley. Star Wars Kyren matched his big week though and both RB's eclipsed the 30 point benchmark. The J-Bones 2.0 is my early pick for the team to beat.
Players of Note: Even though he was not in the lineup, Chuba Hubbard had himself a game. He looks much more comfortable with Dalton at QB, honestly everyone in Carolina looks more comfortable with Dalton at QB. Love Hurts is officially a losing record team that has scored more points than scored against... yes - you read that correctly. Talk about an unfortunate first 3 weeks.
Predicktion: The J-Bones 2.0... RIGHT!!
Mystery Guest: Love Hurts... WRONG!!
Ertz when Eifert (3-0) v Cleveland Streamers (1-2)
Matchup to Watch: I would say that JJ and DK took care of business in this matchup of big-time receivers. It didn't help that Tampa decided to let Denver just walk all over them and Baker looked like he was back in Cleveland. However, Minny is officially one of the remaining undefeated teams and JJ is a big part of it. He has always been the best receiver in the league, the knock was Sam Darnold. I guess JJ can make anyone look good.
Players of Note: Montgomery gave Ertz their 3rd 20 point benchmark breaker this week (JJ and DK). When you can get 3 guys to break 20 points... it usually sets you up for success. Detroit looks very happy with their RBs and the timeshare and Montgomery is looking more and more like the trusted back. This is a huge benefit for Ertz and one of the reasons why they are also undefeated.
Predicktion: Cleveland Streamers... WRONG!!
Mystery Guest: Ertz when Eifert... RIGHT!!
Cocaine Cowboys (0-3) v PEN15 Wrinkle (2-1)
Matchup to Watch: If Josh Allen is the MVP Lamar Jackson might be 2nd place. Some teams have QB's who like to throw ball and some teams have QBs who like to run with the ball. Lamar is a special kind of QB who does both. In 3 games, Jackson has almost eclipsed 1,000 total yards - which would put him as the number 1 QB in total yards. Jackson will find his way into the MVP discussion and so far it without the help of Andrews and Hill.
Players of Note: Through 3 weeks, Olave has found the most yards of separation of any WR. This week it finally paid off and it looks like Carr is happy to spread the ball around - but he is beginning to find the big-time receiver a little more. Purdy also had a nice game, considering he is missing a large number of weapons. On the flip side, Kincaid almost had 2 TD's... but is trending in the right direction to looking like a top 3 TE.
Predicktion: Cocaine Cowboys... WRONG!!
