Week 6 Results

Well, fffff**********ccccccckkkkkkk.......

You know that song, "I gotta feeling" by the Black Eyed Peas? It was a pretty popular song a few years ago and it was referring to having a feeling that something awesome was going to happen that night. I am sure we have all been there.

You know, you are heading to a house party and you know there is going to be plenty of the "double b's" there - Booze and Booty. Every party needs 'em, especially back in the college days. Oh the college days, gotta love those days - but those are for another time. Anyways, you roll up to the spot with your boys and you just get that feeling - something memorable is going to happen tonight. If you get "fomo" or fear of missing out, you don't want to miss this night. Something is going to happen tonight that will be talked about for years - you just got that feeling?

Well, I had that feeling after the trade I made earlier this week. Yes, I had Bell who rushed for almost 180 yards. Yes, I was ahead by 8 or so points going into the Monday night game. Yes, I had Hilton (Indy's top receiver) and my opponent had Moncrief (Indy's 3rd best receiver). Yes, I lost by half a point. Half a friggin' point. I guess that feeling was not for this night - fooled me......

Waco Kids (4-2) 96.9
Juan Fatt Bidge (1-5) 96.4

Oh hey, now I get to complain some more!! Seriously, I should have easily won this matchup. Sure, I didn't break 100 points - I will concede that point. But, if you followed this matchup throughout the week my win probability had to be in the upper 90's before the Monday night game.

Don't worry, if I didn't make the trades I made last week - I still would have lost. Waco Kids was just too consistent throughout his lineup. It is funny that Ajayi had 13 points on 130 yards rushing. It is a shame we voted to not include the bonus for over 100 yards in rushing or receiving. I mean the guy rushed for 130 yards - and Moncrief had almost the same amount of points as him. One guy makes a few catches and one guy rushes for 130 yards - which guy deserves a bonus?

Well, good win Waco. Want to trade Kelce for Hunter Henry? It probably is not a good sign when I have to type in someone's full name, probably not that good of a player, huh? The trade is out there. I mean I am not mathematically eliminated, but it is time to either shit or get off the pot.

Prediction: Juan Fatt Bidge wins by 3 points... WRONG - guess the coin landed on the wrong side.

John Robles (3-3) 107
I Miss Tyler (2-4) 105.3

This matchup turned out to be much closer than anyone could have expected. Robles had this win in the bag, that is until the Titans struggled in the redzone. Succop just had the game of his life. Prior to Sunday, I Miss Tyler had Wentz starting - guess you shouldn't have taken him out for an injured Mariota, huh?

I think the real difference was Mark Ingram. The Saints backfield is impossible to predict. One week it is Kamara and the next it is Ingram. Never would I ever had thought Ingram would go for 30 points. But I also never would ever had thought Succop was going to score 21. The world of fantasy football is a funny thing.

Prediction: John Robles wins by 15 points... RIGHT - let's hope Fournette is good to go for the next week!

Certified "G" 117.6 (2-4)
Sagging TD's 125.2 (4-2)

Honestly, this is surprising. Rodgers scored .7 points and is now out for the rest of the season. Yet, somehow Sagging still manages to score 125 points. How in the world did McCaffrey and Ivory each break 20 points. Too think, Ivory broke 20 points and Fournette broke 20 points - how is your run defense Rams?

Antonio Brown is unreal. I watch the Steelers play and every single play there are two defenders surrounding Brown and he still gets open. Yes, he makes great catches - but for the most part, he runs great routes and gets open. Now, Brown did get an incredibly lucky 50-yard touchdown catch - but hey, you have to be good enough to get lucky.

Unfortunate matchup for Certified. You scored the 3rd most points this week and still managed to lose - I know that feeling, Hoosier Daddy knows that feeling - and now you know that feeling!

Prediction: Sagging TD's wins by 18 points.... RIGHT!!!

Aaron Rodgers is Gay (2-4) 91.5
Team Price is a Dick (4-2) 126.1

What a consistent week from TPIAD. Unfortunately, it didn't matter - as ARIG scored the second lowest point total this week. TPIAD was the team who traded away Le'Veon Bell and in return received a slew of starters that could help their lineup.

Walker and the Jags defense both scored more than the previous starters that TPIAD had in their lineup. Walker was one of the focal points of the offense this week - and let's be honest, he should be. As I stated in a previous post - if Hyde can mange to still score points TPIAD won the trade. As of right now, he is winning this trade.

ARIG needs some running backs. Somebody trade the man some running backs. Anybody, anybody?

Prediction: Team Price is a Dick wins by 22 points... RIGHT!!!

Sergio Dippsh*ts (2-4) 104.7
Mizuno Blue (4-2) 111.7

Mizuno Blue is still winning match-ups. Injuries be damned. Consistency is key for Mizuno Blue. This matchup is consistency v. studs and duds.

Melvin Gordon has been one of the few consistent studs in fantasy football. Sergio needs to find some sort of support cast for Gordon. He is constantly putting up big points, the past two weeks he has scored more than 34 points. Unreal.

How about Landry and Tate? Those guys put up a good week. However, more importantly - how about Seferian-Jenkins? I have talked him down every week and he keeps performing. ASJ has averaged 15 points the past two weeks and he lost out on a touchdown, that probably should have been counted as a touchdown. He might be the number 1 receiver in New York.... Jets or Giants!!

Let's take a look at last weeks questions....

1) This one is split. Big Ben did have a decent game, 250 yards passing, 1 INT, 1 TD. But the Chiefs did not get the win.

2) Melvin Gordon IS THE man for the Chargers. 36 points anyone?

3) McKinnon had more carries and receptions than Murray. Clearly, the lead back.

4) Landry did out perform my prediction of 15 points - but I would say I was pretty much correct. Outside of the touchdown, he would have finished with 14 points.

5) Allen did get a good amount of carries - 2nd to Collins. He was the receiving back in Baltimore.

6) Sefarian-Jenkins did score a touchdown, should have been two. This is actually where I lost my prediction for the matchup. Good for you Mizuno Blue, good for you.

Prediction: Sergio Dippsh*ts win by 5 points... WRONG!!!

BringBack Harbs (4-2) 123
Hoosier Daddy (2-4) 116.6

What do you do, but feel bad for a team like Hoosier Daddy? He has scored the most points and also has the most points scored against. He has scored 20 points more than the next person. He has had 20 points more scored against him than the next person.

BringBack Harbs had a very consistent week from his lineup. Having nearly every player score in double digits, and almost 15 points at that. Hoosier Daddy still managed to score 116 points even with Anderson and Hogan each not scoring more than 3 points respectively.

Last week, I stated that Hoosier Daddy is the best team in this matchup. I still stand by that, 9 times out of 10 Hoosier Daddy wins this matchup. In fantasy football, all it takes is one good week for anybody to beat anybody. What is that movie? Any Given Sunday.

Prediction: Hoosier Daddy wins by 17 points... WRONG!!

Matchup of the Week
Dakster's Lab (5-1) 110.5
The J-Bones (3-3) 78.3

How is The J-Bones 3-3? They have failed to break 90 points four times this season. The first couple weeks this team looked like the clearcut team to beat. Guess not anymore....

Dakster continues to play his matchup and take care of business. At least this time, he won by 30 points. I mentioned in a previous matchup that Ajayi scored 13 points on 130 yards. Jordan Howard scored 18.6 points and rushed for 167 yards (had 1 catch). Too think that this guy dominated the game from the beginning and was the sole focus of the Bears offense. Essentially, he won the game for the Bears - and he only managed to score 18.6 points. He didn't even break 20 points!!! Unreal.

The J-Bones is reliant on his running backs and big plays. If Hill doesn't break one free, he is not going to score points. If Freeman and Montgomery don't score points - this team is going to struggle. It does not help that Atlanta's backfield is turning into a committee and Coleman is looking more and more like the receiving back.

Dakster is the only team with one loss. He continues to find ways to win. His 110 points this week would have beaten half the league - luckily he was playing someone from the bottom half. This week was consistency. Honestly, it is impressive how he continually beats whoever he is matched-up against. At least now his points for is finally more than his points against. It may only be higher than 5 points, but at least it is higher!!

There is a reason why Dakster's Lab is 5-1 and it has a lot to do with the consistency of his running backs...

Howard, Miller, and Thompson might be the best triplet of running backs. Thompson was drafted in the 11th round and is quietly making a case for the steal of the draft. Everybody knows that Hunt is more than likely going to take down that award (drafted in the 7th round), but Thompson is quietly putting together a season that could sway some minds. He is so consistent - only one week not breaking 15 points.

Remember when I said Dakster's Lab was a girl in the bar that nobody wants to go home with? Either everybody has continued to drink and Dakster is looking better and better or Dak continues to hang around and every other option is leaving the bar. Nonetheless, Dakster is 5-1 and looking like the team to beat....

Prediction: The J-Bones wins by 2 points... WRONG!!!

This week: 3-4
This season: 22-20
Competitor: 5-2
Competitor Season: 20-22

Like I said, well f*ck

Mwah
